Liverpool backed to sign Jude Bellingham alternative after update on signing three more stars – pundit
Paul Robinson has claimed Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Sofyan Amrabat would be welcome additions at Liverpool in January.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said Jurgen Klopp “would be happy if any” of the three midfielders were signed.
The Reds are in the market for midfield reinforcements but will likely have to wait until the summer to sign top target Jude Bellingham.
According to journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos, speaking to Empire of the Kop (27 December), Benfica’s Fernandez, Brighton’s Caicedo and Fiorentina’s Amrabat are also targets.
All three players impressed at the winter World Cup, with Fernandez helping Argentina win the competition.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on the potential midfield arrivals at Anfield, Robinson said: “I think they would all be good signings for Liverpool.
“I’m sure Jurgen Klopp would be happy to have any of them in his squad and side. All three players would strengthen their starting XI.

“Liverpool have got or have had players missing. It is about signing players for now and the future. It is about making the starting XI stronger. All three of those players would do that in my opinion.
“Caicedo has the benefit of having played in the Premier League but I’d have no worries about Fernandez or Amrabat coming to England. They proved in the World Cup that they are top-quality players.”
