Liverpool brace for Alisson Becker offers after medic’s ‘concerning’ update
Liverpool are set to field interest in goalkeeper Alisson Becker next summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Reds received offers from the Saudi Pro League in the most recent summer window but the 32-year-old remained at Anfield into the 2024-25 campaign.
It is believed Saudi clubs will return next summer while top European clubs could also enquire about Alisson’s availability.
Football Insider has revealed (7 October) that the shot-stopper’s injury record is becoming “concerning” to the Liverpool medical team.
The Brazil international has missed 40 games for the Reds during the past five seasons, more than any other goalkeeper in the league.
Sources say Liverpool chiefs will have “a decision to make” on his long-term future next summer with Giorgi Mamardashvili arriving on Merseyside in a pre-agreed deal.
Liverpool face Alisson exit decision next summer
It is believed that if a big offer arrives for Alisson, the Reds will have to consider the merits of parting with the goalkeeper – who is widely considered one of the best in the world.
His contract at Anfield runs until June 2027 after penning his most recent extension in 2021.
Alisson is out injured yet again after hurting his hamstring in the win over Crystal Palace earlier this month.

He will miss games against Chelsea, Arsenal, Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen – among others – in the next month.
The 32-year-old joined from Roma in 2018 and has made 271 appearances for Liverpool – winning the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup.
