Liverpool have made two changes to their starting line-up as they take on Bournemouth in a Premier League clash on Wednesday night as Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp guided his team to a 3-1 win against Merseyside rivals Everton at the weekend and he will be hoping his team can build on that impressive display.

Now, Ragnar Klavan and Divock Oirgi have come into the side with the injured Sadio Mane and Joel Matip axed from the previous encounter.

Here is the club’s official Twitter account announcing the team news:

Powerful attacker Mane will be a big miss for the Reds because the Senegal international has been an integral part of Klopp’s attacking outfit this term.

Added with Mane, centre-back Matip is on the bench with the senior duo a key part of this Champions League chasing side.

Nonetheless, the German will be hoping his team can maintain their top four status, starting with three points against Eddie Howe’s side.

Dropped points against the Cherries could see the Champions League chasing pack close the gap on Liverpool, who have played a game extra than their rivals.

Furthermore, Klopp will be in for a difficult game because their midweek opponents beat them 4-3 during the reverse fixture.

At that time, goalkeeper Loris Karius, who is on the bench for this match, was criticised for the manner in which he performed on that day.
