Liverpool confirmed line-up v Manchester City: Senior duo axed
By Danny Wright
Liverpool have made one change to their starting line-up as they prepare to face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp has dropped Divock Origi from the side that beat Burnley 2-1 last week.
Roberto Firmino returns to the side after missing the win over Sean Dyche’s side.
Dejan Lovren misses out alongside Origi but makes the bench as he continues his comeback from injury.

The Reds will make big strides towards a top-four finish, and Champions League qualification with three points as it would see them create a six point buffer between themselves and fifth-placed Manchester United, who beat Middlesbrough earlier in the day.
Liverpool will be boosted by the knowledge that they are unbeaten in nine league encounters with the current top six sides this season and they have beat the Citizens in five of their last six meetings in the division.
However City will be hoping to break that record to put themselves four points clear of the Reds after they suffered European heartbreak in midweek after they succumbed to 3-1 defeat to Monaco.
In the reverse fixture at Anfield earlier in the season, Liverpool were 1-0 winners thanks to an early goal by Georginio Wijnaldum.
