Liverpool could sign ‘£100m’ Jude Bellingham for cut-price fee after journalist’s update – pundit

Borussia Dortmund will lower their £100million valuation of Liverpool target Jude Bellingham in the summer window.

That is the view of former Spurs and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Reds’ interest in the 18-year-old.

Speaking on the Kenn7 YouTube channel (24 March), The Times’ Paul Joyce Borussia Dortmund value their midfielder at £100million.

A German source has since told Football Insider (30 March) the Bundesliga club are making progress on agreeing a new deal with Bellingham.

His current contract runs until the summer of 2025.

When asked if the England international is worth £100million, Robinson told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs:

“Bellingham is a top player and he would fit in the way Jurgen Klopp plays really. It could be the perfect signing.

“Look, £100million is a big ask. We have seen the weight that has put on Jack Grealish.

“Do I think Bellingham is worth that? I don’t think he should demand that type of figure in all honesty.

“I think Dortmund would accept an offer in the high tens of millions. I’m not sure he’d actually go for £100million. If that is the case I don’t think it will put Liverpool off.”

Bellingham has enjoyed another impressive season in Germany and has contributed six goals and 13 assists across all competitions.

He also starred for England against in a friendly against Cote d’Ivoire on Tuesday.

In other news, a pundit has claimed a Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah development is ‘no surprise’ for Liverpool after statement issued.
