Liverpool manager Jurgen Klovpp is set to make two changes to his starting XI against West Ham on Sunday.
Lucas and Georginio Wijnaldum are set to be dropped from the side that lost 4-3 to Bournemouth, with Joel Matip and Adam Lallana recalled to the side.
The Reds defender Lucas is set to be left out as first-choice centre-back Matip makes his return from injury.
Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum is expected to be named on the bench, with Klopp welcoming back creative spark Lallana to the team.
The Merseyside club have settled on a strong three-man midfield of Lallana, Jordan Henderson and Emre Can when everyone is available for selection.
Lallana, 28, was used as a substitute in the defeat to Bournemouth and should be ready to start after his return from injury.
Loris Karius is expected to keep his place in goal despite an extremely disappointing performance in his last game, with Klopp settling on the German as number one ahead of Simon Mignolet.
The 23-year-old looked uncertain against Bournemouth and made a mistake for the decisive goal.
The Reds are set to name their strongest back four and Matip’s return is a massive boost.
Liverpool’s midfield trio will look to dominate possession against West Ham and try link up with the attackers.
Divock Origi, 21, is set to continue as the central striker with Daniel Strurridge considered doubtful against the Hammers.
Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will provide the creativity in the wide positions, with the club’s talisman Philippe Coutinho still sidelined.
In other Liverpool team news, the club’s attacker has stepped up a comeback bid with a first appearances in four months.
