Liverpool fans are unanimous on Mohamed Salah after ‘violent intervention’
Liverpool fans are delighted to see that star man Mohammed Salah will be returning to the club after pulling out of Egypt’s game against Mauritania on Tuesday (October 15).
The 32-year-old has been told by the Egypt national team that he is free to skip their upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritania as they play on an artificial pitch.
This sparked fears of potential injury for the Liverpool winger, with the country’s technical director, Hossam Hassan, claiming that Mauritania are capable of “violent interventions”.
Salah was then given the choice, and the Egyptian King decided to return to Merseyside and prepare for their big Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday, October 20th.
Centre-back Virgil van Dijk is also set to return to the club after he picked up a red card in the Netherland’s 1-1 UEFA Nations League draw with Hungary.
