Liverpool fans couldn’t believe Jurgen Klopp’s “furious” touchline reactions during their draw 2-2 against Man United on Sunday afternoon (7 April).

The Reds dominated the first half and should have put the match to bed inside the opening 45 minutes, but Erik ten Hag’s men returned to the pitch as a completely different side and took the game to Liverpool’s throat.

Luis Diaz opened the scoring 23rd minute, but Liverpool squandered numerous chances to seal three points.

In the second half, Bruno Fernandes bagged a sensational long-range strike after a mistake from Jarell Quansah and Kobbie Mainoo then put United ahead before Mohamed Salah converted a spot-kick to level the game.

Throughout the Old Trafford showdown, Klopp was seen on multiple occasions reacting with fury to Liverpool missing key chances – including a Salah sitter in the closing 15 minutes and Darwin Nunez’s failed one-on-one.

Klopp was seen waving his arms around in a frenzy, shouting at his players and venting to his coaching staff – clearly frustrated that his side failed to claim a crucial win in the closing stretch of his final season.

While Liverpool fans understood the German’s “livid” antics, many were shocked by the extent of his reactions.

They have taken to social media in response, and plenty are adamant that they have “never seen” such a reaction from the boss.
