Liverpool fans ‘devastated’ by Diogo Jota update live from the dressing room
Liverpool fans were sent into a state of panic on social media after Diogo Jota suffered a knee injury in their clash against Brentford on Saturday (17 February).
The Reds traveled down to London this weekend looking to extend their lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Jurgen Klopp’s side entered half-time with a 1-0 lead thanks to a neat finish from Darwin Nunez just after the half-hour mark that was set up by Jota.
However, Liverpool suffered key injuries either side of Nunez’s goal that added to their extensive injury list.
Jones went to ground holding his ankle moments before the opening goal and was replaced by summer signing Ryan Gravenberch.
Minutes later, Jota was replaced by Mohamed Salah after suffering a serious knee injury and leaving the pitch on a stretcher.

During the half-time break, TNT Sports presenter Jules Breach revealed live on air that a Liverpool coach informed her that Jota has suffered a knee injury.
Liverpool fans on social media were sent into a meltdown over the injury news, with many believing that it will put an end to their Premier League title challenge.
