Liverpool fans erupt after ‘ridiculous’ Kingsley Coman transfer update
Kingsley Coman was linked to a number of Premier League clubs in the January transfer window, and Liverpool fans have now reacted to an update regarding a potential move.
Liverpool hardly bolstered their attacking options last summer, signing just Federico Chiesa on loan, who hasn’t impressed during his time.
Despite that, they have continued to dominate in Arne Slot’s first season, currently sitting 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Mohamed Salah has once again been instrumental for Liverpool, breaking records and delivering another standout season, even as questions loom over his future with his contract set to expire in the summer.
With Liverpool expected to undergo a major squad overhaul at the end of the season, several departures are likely. Now, reports suggest the club may have already started planning for reinforcements, as fresh updates have emerged linking them with a move for Bayern Munich’s Coman.

Kingsley Coman set to leave Bayern Munich as Liverpool and Arsenal show interest
According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, he revealed that the Frenchman “plans to leave” Bayern in the summer transfer window.
He also revealed that Liverpool have “enquired” about the forward but there are four other clubs in the race for his signature.
Mick Brown, a former Man United and Sunderland chief scout, exclusively told Football Insider that Arsenal were keeping tabs on Coman during the January transfer window but the side did not make an offer for him.
Manchester United also expressed interest in Coman last summer, but the 28-year-old remained at Bayern Munich. Now, it appears that the player could be available in the upcoming transfer window, and the competition for his signature is heating up.

Liverpool fans voice concerns over Kingsley Coman’s injury history
Despite the mounting transfer speculation, Coman has continued to feature regularly for Bayern Munich, primarily as a rotation option. He has made 11 starts in the Bundesliga this season, contributing six goals and four assists across all competitions. His injuries, however, remain a concern for some potential suitors.
While Coman’s injury record has improved this season, with only three games missed, his history of frequent setbacks still lingers in the minds of many Liverpool supporters.
In the previous season, he missed 21 games due to injuries, which has caused worry among fans, especially given their struggles with injuries in recent years.
One blamed sporting director Richard Hughes and said “what is wrong with Hughes” after questioning the signing of Chiesa and the links to Coman, who have both struggled with injuries.
