Liverpool fans have raged as Darwin Nunez footage has emerged from Jurgen Klopp’s final team talk after the victory over Wolves on Sunday (19 May).
The Uruguayan international was seen with his head in hands, looking down at the floor during the German’s dressing-room speech and appeared to be the only squad member failing to clap at the end.
Klopp spoke about his “love” for the Reds players and thanked them for their efforts during his time in charge at Anfield.
He signed off on Merseyside with a 2-0 win over Wolves, with Alexis Mac Allister and Jarell Quansah grabbing the goals.
Nunez hit the headlines earlier this month when he deleted almost all of his Liverpool-related photos from his Instagram following criticism over his form.
The 24-year-old forward failed to score in any of his final eight Premier League games and wasn’t named in the starting lineup for any of the last four matches.
