'Disaster', We can't lose him' - Liverpool fans in despair as speed machine to reportedly quit

By Richard Parks

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to express their despair that Rhian Brewster is reportedly set to quit this summer.

The Liverpool Echo claim the Merseyside giants are facing up to the prospect of losing the 18-year-old striker in the coming weeks after he snubbed a number of contract offers.

It is said that RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach lead the chase for Brewster and he could make a move to the Bundesliga for a compensation fee of up to £10million.

The teenager has an excellent scoring record at age-group level for club and country, and was part of the England squad which won the Under-17 World Cup last year and even won the Golden Boot award as the tournament’s top scorer.

He has also drawn praise from Jurgen Klopp, who has promised the centre-forward he is part of his plans due to his outstanding qualities of finishing, movement and extreme pace.
