Liverpool fans react furiously on Twitter to Carragher in Everton kit

Jamie Carragher tweeted a picture of himself in full Everton kit ahead of a first-team training session – and Liverpool fans are livid.
The former Liverpool defender took to training with the Everton first-team on Tuesday ahead of an interview for SkySports with several key Everton figures.
However, he incurred the wrath of the Liverpool fans by posting an image of himself dressed in full Everton kit on his personal Twitter account.

The 39-year-old is among a rare breed of one-club men, having represented Liverpool throughout his entire 17-year senior career.
He was, however, an Everton fan growing up, only to begin his career within the academy of Merseyside rivals Liverpool.

But despite his allegiances to both sides, Liverpool fans were less than happy with the picture, and made their feelings abundantly clear.

Carragher made a grand total of 737 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, and was a key part of the side that lifted the 2004-05 Champions League title.
He remains the club’s second longest-serving player, behind the legendary Ian Callaghan, and also served as vice-captain for 10 years.
