By Amir Mir

Premier League giants Everton have agreed a deal which has given them permission to build a new stadium – and Liverpool fans on Twitter have provided mixed views to their new plans.

The club confirmed on their official website on Thursday evening that they have signed Heads of Terms with landowners Peel Holdings to acquire a site at Bramley Moor Dock

It will see the Merseyside outfit move from their current surroundings, Goodison Park to a new home in the near future with no timescale given as to when the new stadium will be built.

The club’s rivals and neighbours, Liverpool recently expanded Anfield at the start of the Premier League season.

The expansion resulted in the club’s Main Stand gaining 8,500 more seats, with their stadium capacity now at 54,000.
