Liverpool fans react on Twitter to losing Canos and signing Mane for club-record fee

As the finishing touches of Sadio Mane’s £36m transfer fee from Southampton to Liverpool is set to be completed, many supporters of the Merseysiders took to Twitter to express their frustration at the cost of the deal.
As reported by Football Insider, the Southampton striker could become one Liverpool’s most expensive-ever signing in a £36million deal.
At the same time, highly rated Spanish winger Sergi Canos could quit the club over a contract dispute.
The Liverpool Echo claim Canos and his representatives have been locked in a stand-off over his wages with the club.
The 19-year-old, who joined the Merseysiders from Barcelona in 2013, is said to be demanding wages of around £10,000 a week, but Liverpool are reluctant to meet his demands.

Canos spent the recently completed domestic season on loan at Brentford and was a key player for the team, scoring on seven occasions while assisting fives times in 38 appearances.
Liverpool fans feel manager Jurgen Kloop rates the youngster highly and should take a risk on the attacking midfielder.
Here are the reactions of Liverpool fans to both stories on Twitter:
Liverpool always overpay for players. It’s not even shocking anymore. Almost thrice of the players actual worth. #Mane

Klopp rate him highly as well or else he’d have never gave him his debut straightaway, in the very 1st game after his loan spell. #Canos
