David Luiz will start for Chelsea against Liverpool on Friday night – and Reds fans have reacted with joy on Twitter.
Antonio Conte revealed on Thursday afternoon that the error-prone Brazilian centre-back will be in the starting line-up for the clash at Stamford Bridge in place of the injured John Terry.
Luiz, 29, returned to the Blues this summer from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around £34million on transfer deadline day and was an unused substitute in last Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Swansea.
Liverpool supporters on social media were pleased with the news, with one fan saying Luiz playing was the equivalent of starting with a two goal head-start in the clash.

The Chelsea man can operate as both a central defender as well and playing in a midfield role but made several defensive errors during his first spell in west London.
Luiz has played 142 times for Chelsea so far in his career, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists and will make his second debut for the Club in Friday’s fixture.
Luiz has a strong overall career record and has played 361 matches notching 26 goals and 23 assists.
He developed an unwanted reputation in his previous time at Stamford bridge for ill-discipline and play-acting though.
The former Benfica ace has received 93 yellow cards in his career.
