Alberto Moreno was not recalled to the starting XI against Manchester United – and Liverpool fans were delighted on Twitter with his omission.
Speculation circled on Twitter just hours before kick-off that the defender might be a shock inclusion in the side.
The 24-year-old has lost his place this season in the team, with make-shift defender James Milner replacing him at left-back.
The Spaniard has made just four appearances in all competitions this season and his last match came against Derby in the EFL Cup.
Liverpool supporters were thrilled that Moreno was not named in the side and were pleased with the team.

Moreno has been an inconsistent performer since he arrived at Anfield in 204 from Sevilla.
He has made 95 appearances for the Merseyside club but is yet to cement his place at left-back.
James Milner has maintained his place in the side but Klopp has made two changes for the clash against their great rivals United.
Daniel Sturridge and Emre Can have been recalled to the side, with Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana dropping out after picking up knocks during the international break.
In other Liverpool team news, the club’s supporters reacted on Twitter to Can’s inclusion against United.
