Liverpool fans are furious on Twitter at Sadio Mane’s omission from the 2016/17 PFA Player of the Year shortlist.
The shortlist was announced today and the six-man list includes: N’Golo Kante, Eden Hazard, Alexis Sanchez, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane.
That’s two players from Chelsea, and one from Arsenal, Tottenham, Everton and Manchester United each.
Manchester City’s Leroy Sane is nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year, meaning Liverpool are the only top-seven side without a player nominated for either award.
Mane has been one of Liverpool’s standout performers this campaign following his £30million move from Southampton last summer.
The Senegal International has 13 goals and eight assists for the Reds in his 29 league and cup appearances.
The Anfield faithful have shown their fury to Mane’s omission on Twitter.
Here’s a selection of their Tweets:

Liverpool currently sit third in the Premier League and beat Stoke City 2-1 last time out courtesy of goals from Brazillian duo Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.
Next up for them is a tough trip to Tony Pulis’ West Brom, where they will look to continue their push for a top-four finish.
