Liverpool fans react on Twitter to questionable Karius performance v Swansea
By Harvey Byrne
Liverpool fans were left uninspired on Twitter with Loris Karius’ performance in goal for the Reds in the afternoon clash against Swansea.
The Merseysiders travelled to the Liberty Stadium looking to claim the three points against an out of form side.
Despite conceding an early goal within the first 10 minutes from Swansea’s Leroy Fer they battled valiantly to a 2-1 victory with goals from Roberto Firmino and James Milner.
Karius started in the net ahead of Simon Mignolet, but fans were left unimpressed on social media with the German’s performance and questioned if he was better than the Belgium international.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Anyone else a bit worried by Karius' allergy to a high ball…. #LFC

Karius hasn't made a save yet in three starts, conceding on the two shots on targets. Not a great start for his #LFC career.

Still not at all convinced with Loris Karius. Still feel he is a model in the wrong industry. #nervy

Is Karius supposed to be the new age "sweeper-keeper" ala Neuer? Cos someone at LFC best realise QUICKLY that he can't kick! @DjLeeButler

Karius transferred to the Reds in the summer from Mainz.
He suffered a broken hand in pre-season against Chelsea, which prevented him from starting the season in goal for the Reds.
The shot stopper has started two matches for Liverpool following his return to fitness in fixtures against Derby and Hull keeping a clean sheet, while conceding one against the Tigers.
The goalkeeper position has proved to be a particular weakness for the Merseysider’s in recent seasons with Mignolet and fans will be hoping for an improvement from their new signing.
Klopp also brought in 39-year-old Alex Manninger in the summer and he may make an appearance if things don’t improve in the net.
In other Liverpool team news, Jordan Henderson has claimed that his team-mate can be as good as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
