Liverpool’s fans have taken to Twitter to display their anguish at the news Philippe Coutinho may miss the match with Stoke because of illness.
The reactions came after the club’s official Twitter posted a quote from Jurgen Klopp saying: “Phil is still ill. It will be close [for tomorrow].”

The Brazilian was substituted in the 65th minute during the Reds 2-2 draw with Bournemouth after complaints of being ill at half time.
Coutinho scored Liverpool’s first in the game, before Divock Origi added their second on the hour mark.
But Klopp’s side were again left to lament defensive errors as Gini Wijnaldum gifted Benik Afobe the Cherries opener, before Ragnar Klavan failed to clear and Josh King swept home late on to rescue a point.
The 24-year-old is one of Liverpool’s key players and has only just returned from a lengthy lay out with a ankle injury.
Coutinho has nine goals and eight assists in his 29 league and cup appearances for Klopp’s side this season.
The news that Coutinho is a doubt for Liverpool’s next game was not taken well by the Reds faithful.
Here’s a selection of their reactions on Twitter:

Doesn't look good tomorrow with Coutinho not well either. Need to get through tomorrow and hopefully have players back for West Brom.
