Liverpool fans rip into ‘unforgivable’ FSG after journalist’s Van Dijk update

Liverpool supporters are starting to showcase signs of frustration regarding the FSG ownership as the club makes no public progress in securing the futures of their superstars.

Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Mohamed Salah are all out of contract at the end of this season, which could lead to them departing Anfield on free transfers despite being some of Liverpool’s most important players.

The trio were regulars throughout Jurgen Klopp’s era at the club, and that has only continued since Arne Slot has arrived in Merseyside.

Van Dijk is ever-present in the Liverpool team and has played a significant role in them having the second-best defensive record in the Premier League this season.

The trio could wrap up their time at the club in style by winning the Premier League, with the Red currently 12 points ahead of Arsenal.

However, Liverpool fans are concerned about how much of a blow it will be to lose them all at once this summer unless something is done.

Virgil Van Dijk’s future is up in the air at Liverpool

Van Dijk has consistently been vague when asked about his future at the club, refusing to give a clear answer regarding whether he will or won’t remain at the club.

According to journalist Sam McGuire, PSG are “all in” on trying to sign Van Dijk on a free transfer this summer to bolster their options defensively.

Liverpool supporters are growing impatient

The 33-year-old was spotted talking to PSG officials in the Anfield tunnel after their recent Champions League fixture which sparked rumours about him joining the Ligue 1 side.

This latest report is only going to add fuel to those flames, but Liverpool supporters are taking aim at FSG regarding this for not tying down their key players to long-term deals.
