Liverpool supporters have ripped into Ibrahima Konata after the role he played in Wolves’ goal against them.
The Reds picked up three points at Molineux by beating Wolves 2-1 in a game that heavily featured the Liverpool centre-back.
The 25-year-old scored Liverpool’s opening goal in the first half but then played a significant role in Rayan Ait-Nouri’s second-half equaliser.
A miscommunication between him and Alisson Becker led to Konate failing to shield the ball back to his goalkeeper as Wolves took full advantage.
Fortunately for the France international, the Reds regained the lead shortly after through a Mohamed Salah penalty.
Despite that, many supporters questioned Konate’s performance and the clumsy nature of it.
