Liverpool fans tear into Mohamed Salah as Atalanta stats emerge

Liverpool fans are extremely concerned about star man Mohamed Salah after his performance in the Europa League win against Atalanta on Thursday (18 April).

The 31-year-old scored an early penalty to seemingly kick-start a comeback but faded out of the game in a flat display from Jurgen Klopp’s side which saw them eliminated after a 3-1 aggregate loss.

Salah was substituted by Klopp on 66 minutes and replaced by striker Darwin Nunez.

As per Sofascore, Salah completed just 69% of his 29 passes and missed one big chance in the first half with a wayward lob.

He lost possession on 11 occasions and attempted only two dribbles – completing one.

Salah has notched 23 goals and 13 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool this term – but has been visibly off his best since returning from a hamstring injury last month.

Liverpool fans extremely concerned by ‘atrocious’ Salah form

Liverpool fans have taken to social media to express their concern about the Egyptian’s form, with many even claiming the time has come for the Reds to “cash in” on the winger.
