'I can't express my love' - Liverpool fans heap praise on starlet after match-winning performance

Liverpool fans have heaped praise on Trent Alexnader-Arnold after his performance for the Under-23s versus Everton.

The 18-year-old scored the winner in the Under-23s Merseyside derby on Monday night.

The young Reds won 2-1, as Sheyi Ojo and Alexander-Arnold found the net, however the Toffees still won the Premier League 2 title.

The youngster has impressed Klopp in training and with his performances for the Under-23s, where he has scored three goals and provided four assists in 11 Premier League 2 appearances.

However he has rarely disappointed in the first team, and has been called upon 11 times by Klopp.

Alexander-Arnold is primarily a right-back, but he has played in central midfield for the young Reds on several occasions.

He has also represented England at a number of age groups, from the Under-16s, right up to the Under-19s, whom he has 10 caps for, and six goals.

Liverpool fans took to Twitter to lavish praise on the young star following his performance against Everton Under-23s, and some even called for him to start in the first team versus West Ham.
