Martinez charged in with a late challenge and clattered into Szoboszlai, leaving the midfielder on the ground and the defender booked.
However, it was Liverpool’s number four who caught the attention as the TV cameras appeared to show him telling the Argentine to try that same challenge on him and see what happens.
