Liverpool ace Federico Chiesa reacts to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with future in doubt
Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa has reacted to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s poignant message after PSG won the Champions League.
Kvaratskhelia has enjoyed an incredible individual campaign, initially helping former club Napoli on their way to the Serie A title before moving to Paris in the winter transfer window.
The Georgia international has subsequently played a major role in firing PSG to a historic treble-winning season.
Kvaratskhelia’s successful season culminated in scoring the fourth goal as Luis Enrique’s men dismantled Inter in the Champions League final on Saturday, 31 May.

Chiesa reacts as Kvaratskhelia reveals PSG dream on social media
The Italy international has struggled for game time in his first season with Liverpool, making just six Premier League appearances.
Meanwhile, Kvaratskhelia celebrated PSG’s first Champions League triumph on Instagram [1 June] as he wrote: “This is Paris. Dreams come true.”
Despite the fierce rivalry between Chiesa’s former side, Juventus, and Kvaratskhelia’s ex-employers Napoli, the Liverpool man gave the post a like.

Luis Diaz exit could hand Chiesa more game time
Even though Chiesa was a member of the Liverpool side that won the Premier League title this season, his first campaign in Merseyside did not turn out the way he would have expected, as he made just one top-flight start.

However, as Arne Slot looks to reshape his squad this summer, the Italy international could enjoy more regular game time next term.
Luis Diaz could leave Liverpool in favour of the Saudi Pro League, which would reduce the competition for places on the wing at Anfield.
During his last season with Juventus, Chiesa scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 37 appearances across all competitions, and could have a similar impact in the North West should Diaz depart.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have already signed Jeremie Frimpong, showing Slot’s appetite to get his business done early ahead of his second Premier League season in the dugout.
