Liverpool maverick Mario Balotelli has been told to look elsewhere for a new club after Besiktas have stated that they are not willing to meet the forward’s £5.1million per-year wage demands, according to a report.
After once being feted as one of the world’s leading forwards, Balotelli’s stock has never been lower. The Italy international spent last season on loan at AC Milan and scored just one goal in 20 Serie A appearances.

The Champions League winner wants to show that he can still cut it at the top level, with two years remaining on his Liverpool contract, but it now seems his time at Anfield is up.
Turkish Champions Besiktas are said to be keen after president Fikret Orman revealed that the club were interested in bringing the controversial striker to the Turkish Super Lig in the current transfer window.
Besiktas need to sign a new striker after losing German forward Mario Gomez, who scored 28 goals in 41 appearances last season.
