Liverpool have ‘worked magic’ after journalist’s £500m reveal – pundit
Kevin Campbell has heaped praise on Liverpool for “the way they have conducted business” since Jurgen Klopp’s arrival.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said the Reds have “worked magic” in the transfer market in recent years.
Liverpool have sold Sadio Mane, Neco Williams, Takumi Minamino and Ben Davies this summer.

According to Goal‘s Neil Jones (26 July), the Merseyside club have generated more than £500million from player sales since Klopp’s appointment in October 2015.
Campbell applauded Liverpool’s ability to stay competitive despite big-name exits over the years.
“The way Liverpool have conducted their business has been first class,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.
“When you start being that team at the top, the levels and the values of the players you have go up.
“Liverpool have done a great job signing young players and developing them into assets. If a player does not fit into Jurgen Klopp’s plans they have always move them on for good money. They have worked magic in that sense.

“What is important is that they have sold players but stayed competitive. If you sell key players you have to replace them with quality. That is easier said than done though.
“What is so impressive is that Liverpool have sold players and stayed competitive. It is a nightmare as an Arsenal fan. They conduct their business so well.”
