The Reds have already signed Jeremie Frimpong, who could prove to be an adequate replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold after starring for Bayer Leverkusen.
But as Slot looks to add reinforcements to his squad, Liverpool will also witness further outgoings this summer.
Former Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers chief scout Mick Brown has exclusively told Football Insider that Bayern Munich want to sign Cody Gakpo.
The Netherlands forward played a key role in Liverpool’s Premier League success by scoring 10 goals and creating four assists in 35 top-flight appearances this term.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are closing in on Florian Wirtz, who, like Frimpong, has been vital for Leverkusen during their successful years under the management of former Real Madrid and Reds midfielder Xabi Alonso.
