Liverpool are preparing an £11million swoop for Borussia Dortmund teenager Christian Pulisic, according to a report.

The Liverpool Echo claims that Jurgen Klopp is keen to be reunited with the USA international attacking midfielder.

The 17-year-old was brought to Dortmund by Klopp in January 2015 and although the two only spent a short time together the German boss is keen to link up again with the American.

It is believed that the Merseyside boss has been prompted into making the move after Premier League rivals Stoke made a similar offer for the youngster.

Pulisic became the youngest foreigner to score in the Bundesliga in the game against Hamburg in April.

He boasts similar accolades in his national side too after he became the youngest player to represent the USA national team in a World Cup Qualifier.

He also became the youngest player to score a goal for his country in the modern era, when he netted against Bolivia when he was 17 years and 253 days old.

The big prospect has two years left on his current contract at Dortmund.

He’s represented the German giants on 12 occasions scoring two goals.

In other Liverpool transfer news, youngster Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Dutch side NEC Nijmegen on a season-long loan.
