‘Liverpool make Kevin De Bruyne offer for Man City exit’
Kevin De Bruyne could end up playing against Man City next season as Liverpool offer the star an opportunity to remain in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola is set to be without one of the biggest City stars over the last decade, with the Belgian ending his decade-long stay at the Etihad Stadium, boasting 418 appearances since 2015.
The 33-year-old ripped out the hearts of fans everywhere when announcing his exit on social media, with it appearing that the club decided against extending his current deal beyond the 2024/25 season.
He has become a legendary figure during his time in the Premier League, and with 108 goals and 177 assists across all competitions, there are few arguments against him being one of the world’s best.
Aston Villa and Liverpool have both been suggested as potential destinations for De Bruyne this summer, but that could now become a reality following the latest update ahead of the transfer window.

Liverpool take action to bring Kevin De Bruyne to Anfield
According to well-established Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (7 May), De Bruyne has already received a proposal from Liverpool, a team that has been Man City’s rivals over the last decade.
It is understood that the Belgian is keen to remain in Europe, even despite links with a move to the MLS, and is looking for a new club after announcing the decision to part ways with City.

Man City star not ready to leave the Premier League just yet
Man City could seriously regret not handing De Bruyne a new deal this season, with more than one club happy to keep him in the division despite a lesser role under Guardiola.
He has only started 17 games in the Premier League this term, but with two goals and an assist in his last four appearances, it is no wonder that others have raised their eyebrows at his situation.

Arne Slot, however, could benefit from Guardiola’s loss this summer, bringing him in to be an incredible playmaker with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Alexis Mac Allister.
Liverpool are losing a vital playmaker in Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, but many supporters at Anfield would bite their hands off for the Belgian’s signature.
While he is 33 years of age, he has proven that there is still life in his legs, and the Reds will surely benefit if they can persuade the star to join his rivals on a free transfer.
