Klopp has a Coutinho replacement: Three things we learned from Liverpool win v Everton
Lallana can replace Coutinho
Having had to battle a tough injury that saw the Englishman spend some hefty time on the sideline must have been tough, but make no mistake, Adam Lallana is back.
At times in the first half he was unplayable, feeding through a diverse range of passes to his attacking team mates, and slicing the Toffees defense open with darting runs. He won the penalty that began the scoring also.
It is still early days of course, hence why the 29-year-old only managed 70 minutes, but Lallana looks like he could be the man to fill the void should Coutinho leave this January.
In other Liverpool news, fans were delighted to see this man in Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup.
