Liverpool predicted XI v Sheffield United after Curtis Jones, Jota, Trent, Konate and Alisson injury updates
Liverpool will look to make it back-to-back Premier League wins when they host Sheffield United at Anfield on Thursday (4 April).
Having drawn 1-1 with Manchester City, the Reds then returned to winning ways with a 2-1 home victory against Brighton on Sunday (31 March).
Ahead of another Premier League clash at Anfield, Football Insider has predicted Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up to take on the struggling Blades after the manager revealed his club’s latest injury news.
Defence
Klopp explained that Alisson could take part in team training next week, meaning Caoimhin Kelleher is expected to continue in goal.
The manager noted that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be back in parts of team training from next week, meaning Conor Bradley is likely to continue at right-back, with Joe Gomez expected to continue at left-back amid the absence of the injured Andy Robertson.
Virgil van Dijk is likely to remain in central defence, with Ibrahima Konate potentially replacing 21-year-old Jarell Quansah after the Frenchman was named on the bench for the Brighton clash.
Midfield
Wataru Endo should continue in defensive midfield, with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai likely to retain their places. Klopp did explain that Curtis Jones is now back in full training and in contention to play against the Blades, but he may have to settle for a role on the bench.
Attack
In attack, the trio of Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz are expected to keep their places following the Brighton win. Klopp explained that like Alexander-Arnold, Jota is likely to be involved in parts of team training from next week.

In other news, Liverpool star set for ‘bigger’ deal than Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
