Liverpool have included teenage sensation Yan Dhanda in their squad for their Tenerife training camp, according to a report.
The Liverpool Echo report that Jurgen Klopp is set to take a squad of non-internationals and youngsters on a training camp to Spain during the international break.
Dhanda, 18, is included in Klopp’s party, and could be in line to make a first-team appearance before the end of the season if he impresses the German chief.
The winger has made only two appearances for the Liverpool academy side this season, but is one of several high-potential emerging talents at Anfield, and remains a key player for the U18 side.
Dhanda signed a professional contract with the Merseyside club in December 2015, having joined from the West Brom academy two-and-a-half-years earlier.
He has represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level, but the Birmingham-born attacker is keen to push for a regular place in Liverpool’s academy side, as well as Klopp’s first-team squad.
Liverpool will spend the next week at their Tenerife training camp in a bid to continue preparations ahead of the Merseyside derby clash with Everton on April 1.
Academy trio Kevin Stewart, Sheyi Ojo and Connor Randall are also included, as are senior octet Jordan Henderson, Loris Karius, Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren, James Milner, Alex Manninger, Alberto Moreno and Lucas Leiva.
