Harry Wilson wants showdown talks with Jurgen Klopp after the Champions League final as he plots his Liverpool exit, Football Insider understands.
The attacker, 22, is keen to push for a permanent summer transfer if Klopp indicates he’s unlikely to break into the Anfield senior side next season.
Football Insider broke the news last week that Liverpool are ready to place a £25million price tag on Wilson as Klopp mulls over the potential sale of a player attracting strong interest from Wolves.
Multiple Premier League clubs as well as those in La Liga and the Bundesliga are also keeping close tabs on the Wales international after his impressive season on loan at Derby County.
Liverpool could be keen for Wilson to go out on loan again next season but a source close to the player has told Football Insider the player believes his time will have passed to make it under Klopp if he’s not in the first team set-up next season.
Wilson was instrumental in Derby reaching the play-off final with 18 goals and six assists from 49 appearances after previously thriving during a half-season spell at Hull City.
He has a Liverpool contract that runs until 2023 but has made only one first-team appearance for the club, which came as a substitute in January 2017.
