Liverpool stars 'buzzing' at Jurgen Klopp's confirmed news - Agbonlahor
The Liverpool squad will be “buzzing” Jurgen Klopp has signed a new contract, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed the news will give everyone associated a perfectly-timed “boost”.
Liverpool confirmed last week (28 April) that Klopp had signed a new four-year contract with the club.
The 54-year-old’s previous agreement was set to expire in the summer of 2024.
His side are chasing a historic quadruple and secured a place in the Champions League final with a 5-2 aggregate victory over Villareal in the semi-final last night (3 May).
They have already won the EFL Cup and face Chelsea in the FA Cup final later this month (14 May) while they remain a point behind Man City at the top of the Premier League table with four games left to play.

“It gives them a huge boost,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“You want stability as a player. If there’s a manager you really like and you know the next four years he’s going to be there it gives you that stability.
“You know you’re going to be winning trophies so the players will be buzzing and I’m sure every Liverpool fan will be over the moon.”
Klopp is only missing the FA Cup and Community Shield from his trophy collection as Liverpool manager.
The German took over at Anfield in October 2015 and became the Premier League’s longest-serving manager earlier this year when Sean Dyche left Burnley.
