Liverpool told to complete three 'huge' signings after confirmed transfer news

Frank McAvennie has urged Liverpool to sign Son Heung-min, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker insisted the Reds will “win everything” if they can complete deals for the trio.

As quoted by the Korean outlet KBS News (8 November), Jurgen Klopp said not signing Son when he had the chance was of “one of the biggest mistakes” of his life.

Klopp had the opportunity to sign the 30-year-old when he was at Borussia Dortmund back in 2013.

Son, who was at Hamburg at the time, opted for Bayer Leverkusen over Dortmund.

The Reds boss insisted the South Korea international has become one of the best strikers in the world.

Last month (24 October), German outlet Sport1 reported that the 30-year-old is said to be willing to leave the London club with the hope of winning trophies elsewhere and the Reds are keen on signing him.

On 8 October, this site revealed that Klopp has a strong interest in Declan Rice and have been attempting to lay the groundwork for a deal next year.

The Reds are also pushing hard to land Bellingham but facing big competition from Europe’s elite.

McAvennie insisted Liverpool need to land the trio.

I think he [Klopp] needs players,” he told Football Insider.

He needs quality players. If Liverpool could get Son, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham they will win everything. That is three huge players that would change the whole structure of Liverpool.

I think that is all they need, they do not need to go anywhere else. The young boys they have got coming through are there to back up these players.

If they can buy three players of that calibre, that is what they need to keep up with the Man Cities of this world.
