Liverpool told to U-turn on Jude Bellingham after latest report - pundit
Alan Hutton has urged Liverpool to make a move for Jude Bellingham sooner rather than later.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League defender believes Bellingham is “only going to get better”.
According to German outlet Sport Bild (29 June) Borussia Dortmund have put a price tag of around £103million on the 19-year-old.
The Mirror reported (16 June) that Liverpool will hold off on a move for the teenager until next summer as opposed to in the current window.
Bellingham signed for Dortmund in 2020 from Birmingham for a fee of around £23million.
When asked if he thought Jurgen Klopp could hold off on signing the midfielder, Hutton told Football Insider: “I’m not so sure.

“He’s one of those target that I think if you want him you have to go and get him because I think if you wait another year or so, and he continues on the form that he’s on, there will be so many suitors out there.
“And if the likes of Real Madrid and these kinds of teams come calling, they’re the ones that will be very difficult to turn down. So if they want him they need to go and get him.
“I think he’s a great player, for somebody so young I think he’s honestly unbelievable he’s only going to get better. He’s taken the opportunity to go over to Germany and play football and he’s been outstanding.”
The English international played 43 games for Dortmund last season.
He scored six goals and provided 14 assists.
