Liverpool have made a bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore, according to a reliable journalist.
Gianluca Di Marzio, a Sky Sports Italian reporter, claimed that both Liverpool and Tottenham have made offers in the region of £22million and £35million to acquire the services of the attacker.

However, both Premier League sides are believed to face a battle with Inter Milan – with the latter believed to be the player’s preferred destination.
Pastore has reportedly rejected the offers of a move to the Premier League in favour of a return to Italy where he played for Palermo from 2009-2011.
The 28-year-old has made 20 outings in all this season and has a goals to game ratio of one in five.
Jurgen Klopp has been linked to a host of attackers this transfer window, including Thomas Lemar, following the departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona
Football Insider verdict:
It seems clear that Klopp wants to bring in a new face to his attack but Liverpool already have an array of talent going forward and following his side’s demolition of Manchester City and near capitulation at the end, perhaps the German manager should be concentrating his efforts on adding to his defence. Yes, van Dijk has been signed but he could take some time to settle in and they continue to look frail at the back. However, Klopp loves his teams to be expressive, to attack with pace, flair, and creativity which means he may well feel as though he needs to add someone to his forward line. But with Pastore’s agent apparently in Milan – a move to the Premier League looks some way off.
