Tottenham loanee Shayon Harrison scored his first senior goal in Yeovil’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Exeter on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan in the south west of England until the end of the season.
The forward had so far failed to find the back of the net in 10 appearances for the club, but he finally scored his first goal with the Glovers as he bagged the second of the six-goal encounter.
Harrison put his side 2-0 up on the 70th minute and was subbed off just seven minutes later with the scoreline still the same.
He will have been disappointed that his goal only earned his side a point, but he will be delighted that he was finally able to break his duck for the club and in terms of his career.
In the matches that Harrison has played for Yeovil he has now helped the 18th placed League Two team to one win, seven draws and three losses.
The young talent has also made his senior debut for Tottenham, which came as a seven minute substitute in his side’s 2-1 defeat against Liverpool in the EFL Cup in October.
With a year still remaining on his contract in north London he will be hoping he can make it at the Premier League side and this experience with Yeovil should prove beneficial to his career.
In other Tottenham news, Gareth Southgate has delivered some delightful insight into the injured Harry Kane.
