London rivals want Tottenham running machine, £20m will seal the deal - report

Crystal Palace have thrown their transfer hat into the ring to sign Tottenham flop Moussa Sissoko, according to a report.
The Daily Express claims that both AC Milan and Inter Milan are interested in the Euro 2016 finalist, with Spurs willing to accept offers of £20million for the 27-year-old.
It is believed that Spurs are willing to take a loss of £10million on the supremely quick winger, who is known for his galloping runs that allow him to drift past opponents.
Signed from Newcastle on the summer deadline day, Sissoko has made just six Premier League starts for the north London outfit and is yet to find the back of the net.
Spurs decided to cough up for the France international after he starred at Euro 2016, with his energy and ball-carrying ability marking him out as France’s best performer in the final of the competition which they lost to Portugal.

However, Sissoko has struggled to oust the competition at White Hart Lane in the likes of Son Heung-Min, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli, while Mauricio Pochettino’s 3-4-2-1 system no longer suits a traditional winger.
Sam Allardyce’s Eagles are known for their desire to get the ball wide and cross to target man Christian Benteke which could tempt Sissoko, who could also remain in London.
However, the lure of either Milan clubs will be difficult to turn down, as they remain two of the largest footballing institutions in the world despite their recent decline in Serie A.
Football Insider verdict:
Tottenham should bite any interested parties’ arm off if they table a bid worth £20million, as Sissoko’s stock continues to plummet after a dismal season in north London. Sissoko is missing the impetus with which he attacked with such venom at both Newcastle before moving to Tottenham, and with Didier Deschamps’ France side during the European Championships. It has seen him lose his place on the side, with Pochettino unlikely to give him a second chance ahead of the 2017-18 season. With that in mind, £20million is a good deal for Spurs, as they look to recuperate as much money as they can on the former Toulouse ace.
