Lord Sugar predicts Tottenham v Arsenal, shares why he is fearful

By London correspondent Tony Hughes

Lord Sugar has expressed his fears that Tottenham will surrender their unbeaten Premier League record against Arsenal on Sunday.

Spurs are undefeated in 10 top flight matches this season but have slipped of late and have failed to secure a win from their last six games in all competitions.

By contrast, Arsenal are in a rich vein of form and will climb to the Premier League summit if they extend their winning run at Emirates Stadium against Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The Spurs manager confirmed on Friday that Harry Kane will be returning to the Tottenham squad following a two-month absence through injury.

Former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar claimed on his personal Twitter account on Saturday night that he is “not sure” if Kane will start but fears the team’s unbeaten record in the league this season “might be ending”.

Pochettino confirmed Kane’s return during a press conference on Friday afternoon though he did not reveal whether the England international will be in the starting XI.

Kane has missed Tottenham’s last 10 matches since suffering ankle ligament damage during their 1-0 win against Sunderland in mid-September.

Pochettino also confirmed Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela and Ben Davies will miss out, while Mousa Dembele is rated doubtful.

Moussa Sissoko will also be missing as he serves his final game of his three-match suspension for violent conduct.

The Gunners have not lost a game since their opening weekend defeat against the Merseysiders and will go into the game as the favourites.
