‘Luis Diaz to Saudi Arabia update emerges in worrying blow to Liverpool’: ‘Goodbye’
Luis Diaz could be set for the Liverpool exit door after helping the Anfield giants win the Premier League title.
The Colombia international played a key role in the Reds’ top-flight winning exploits, notching 13 goals and five assists in the league this term.
Diaz has attracted interest from Al Nassr, who finished third in the Saudi Pro League, and enjoy the services of Cristiano Ronaldo and former Liverpool hero Sadio Mane.
Stefano Pioli’s men will hope that the addition of Diaz can help them bridge the gap to champions Al Ittihad and win the title next season.

Liverpool ‘might be tempted’ to sell Diaz
The winger has made 148 appearances for Liverpool since joining from Porto in January 2022, scoring 41 goals.
Speaking live on talkSPORT [1 June], Ben Jacobs discussed the prospect of Diaz’s Anfield exit: “The advantage for Liverpool is they have plenty of money to spend, so if Diaz goes, I would expect a big replacement.
“We know they like Anthony Gordon, for example. Diaz to Al Nassr is a concrete possibility. Diaz posted a message that was basically just an end-of-season ‘thank you’. But some Liverpool fans maybe felt that there was an element of ‘goodbye’ reading between the lines.
“Al Nassr want Luis Diaz, he’s their top target.”
Diaz has also attracted interest from Barcelona, who are keen to bolster their ranks after winning both La Liga and the Copa Del Rey this term.
Cody Gakpo could join Diaz in making Liverpool exit
After winning the Premier League title at the end of Arne Slot’s first season in the Anfield dugout, the Merseyside giants always appeared likely to have a busy summer on the transfer front.

Even though the Dutchman guided Liverpool to top-flight glory this season, the only addition he made after taking the managerial reins from the legendary Jurgen Klopp was that of Federico Chiesa.
The Italy international played a minor role in the Anfield club’s Premier League success, though, as he made just six top-flight appearances and one start.
But as Liverpool look to battle for yet more silverware next campaign, Slot’s men have signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, with Florian Wirtz set to join in his footsteps from the German outfit to Merseyside.
However, while the Reds facilitate such high-profile additions, they will also have to allow some of their talent to leave Anfield this summer.
With Diaz potentially joining Al Nassr, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are keen to sign Cody Gakpo.
Meanwhile, Liverpool News spoke to Ian Darke as Harvey Elliott could leave Slot’s side this summer.
