Luis Palma ‘wants to join Rangers’ after source’s Celtic update – expert
Luis Palma has not chosen a move to Celtic over Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers defender Alan Hutton is uncertain how far his former club progressed with a deal but insisted it is not unusual for multiple clubs to be interested in the same player.
On 31 May, Football Insider revealed that, despite interest, a move to Ibrox was off the cards for Palma with offers from other clubs on the table.

The winger has three years left on his contract at Greek side Aris Saloniki but is now closing in on a move to Celtic.
On Tuesday (29 August), Football Insider revealed that the Hoops are on track to announce the signing of the 23-year-old after agreeing a deal worth £3.5million.
Palma is expected in Glasgow in the next 24-48hours to finalise the move.
When asked for his verdict on Celtic signing a player Rangers were also close to, Hutton told Football Insider: “We do not exactly know how far down the line it was with Rangers.
“We do not know if he was actually saying he wanted to join Rangers. It could well be he wanted Rangers and still does.

“It happens all the time, you look down south there could be three, four, five teams in for one player. If they think a player can come in and make the team better than there will be multiple teams interested.
“He has not actually come out and said anything about Rangers. So it will be interesting because both Celtic and Rangers have been linked.“
