Luke Ayling delivers Leeds verdict after Barnsley defeat
By Dominic Toner
Leeds defender Luke Ayling has urged his side to “bounce straight back” following the loss to Barnsley on Saturday.
The Whites suffered a setback in their bid for promotion as they lost 3-2 to Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday.
Chris Wood continued his impressive this form with a brace, but goals from Tom Bradshaw, Ryan Kent and Conor Hourihane gave the hosts the three points.
Garry Monk’s side are down to fourth in the league table, but still have a firm grip on a play-off position.
Ayling has backed his team to respond in their next game when they face Nottingham Forest on Wednesday in the league.

Leeds will be looking to return to winning ways against Forest in the home match at Elland Road.
The Whites had been on a seven-game unbeaten run prior to the Barnsley loss and will be looking to put another run of results together.
The Yorkshire giants have been tipped to potentially catch Newcastle and Brighton in the automatic spots, but must now overcome a nine-point gap.
Ayling has been one of Leeds’ most constant performers this season and is expected to be restored to right-back against Forest.
The 25-year-old has been filling in as an emergency centre-back during the absence of Pontus Jansson, who is available again after serving a two-game suspension.
In other Leeds news, the club have entered the race to sign a Premier League goal machine.
