Mac Allister and Emi Martinez react to Enzo Fernandez’s passionate Chelsea message

Enzo Fernandez dispatched a heartfelt message to the Chelsea supporters and earned reactions from his teammates and across the Premier League.

Chelsea moved one step closer to silverware once again after a convincing 2-0 win over Fluminense on 8 July in the Club World Cup semi-final.

Joao Pedro enjoyed a dream debut, scoring twice against his former club. His first was a superb curling finish, while the second came from a slick counter-attack – initiated by a perfectly timed ball from Fernandez – which the Brazilian smashed home with confidence.

Chelsea will now face Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in the final, after the French side produced a dominant 4-0 victory over Real Madrid.

Fernandez, who delivered another composed performance in midfield, later shared a message with fans as the Blues prepare for another shot at silverware.

Emi Martinez could be on his way out of Aston Villa.

While Martinez showed support for Fernandez online, he could soon become a teammate at club level too.

Football Insider revealed Chelsea are weighing up a move for Aston Villa’s Martinez after Manchester United’s pursuit hit a stumbling block.

United’s ongoing difficulty in offloading Andre Onana has stalled their progress, opening the door for clubs to swoop in for the Argentine.

Martinez’s camp are pushing to leave Aston Villa after he changed agents in a bid to force through a move, and Stamford Bridge could be his next destination.
