Supporters are keen for the club to tie Szoboszlai down to new terms at Anfield, with the player currently contracted until the summer of 2028.

Liverpool could risk losing Szoboszlai as transfer interest ramps up

It is really no surprise, with the Hungarian star stepping up immensely over the past few seasons, notching 20 goals and 17 assists in 116 appearances since the summer of 2023.
While fans expected big things from the 25-year-old, very few expected him to have such a crucial role in the team, and he has quickly become one of the most consistent players in world football.
Despite over £400million of spending during the summer months, Szoboszlai remains one of Slot‘s most important players, and that is unlikely to change after what could be a key goal in Italy.
