Kane’s potential absence would been a colossal blow for Spurs as he has been in sensational form this season.
The England international has scored 22 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions this campaign and is joint-top of the Premier League’s golden boot with 17.
He is now set to come up against goal scoring rival Romelu Lukaku on Sunday, who also has 17 league goals so far.
Kane has scored three hat-tricks this season, including in the recent 4-0 victory over Stoke.
Spurs will be hopeful he is available for selection against the Toffees as they look to strengthen their position in the top four places.
In other Tottenham team news, Dele Alli has made a bold claim about the club.
