The Celtic boss has to be applauded for the tactical change which helped the Hoops clinch their victory. After Simunovic was sent-off, the boss went to four at the back, and the Bhoys looked far more solid as a result.
The manager is one of the highest paid in Britain, and he certainly earned it in a victory which will go down in Hoops folklore, not only winning with ten men but their fourth consecutive win at Ibrox.
Rodgers will hope it is a launch-pad for the Hoops to kick on for the rest of the season and clinch another domestic treble.
