Man City ace Erling Haaland shares Jack Grealish training ground update

Man City striker Erling Haaland has taken to social media to share a training ground update, featuring teammate Jack Grealish.

Pep Guardiola’s side ended their remarkable seven-game winless streak with a comprehensive 3-0 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday (December 4).

Bernardo Silva scored the opener via a returning Kevin de Bruyne, who then doubled their lead with a well-placed finish just after the half-hour mark.

Haaland, 24, popped up with a rare assist, turning provider for winger Jeremy Doku to slot home City’s third and lift them back into the Champions League spots.

The big Norwegian has once again been key to Guardiola’s plans this season, starting all 20 of his appearances across all competition, scoring 17 goals, and providing one assist in 1762 minutes of game time.

Grealish, 29, hasn’t featured quite so much as his teammate, starting just eight of his 14 games across all competitions, providing two assists and scoring zero goals in 746 minutes of game time.

The England international started against Forest, however, playing 90 minutes before being replaced by Matheus Nunes in added time, ending his game with a 98 per cent pass accuracy rate, three chances created, and a 100 per cent shot accuracy rate.

City face Crystal Palace on Saturday (December 7), and Haaland has taken to Instagram to share an image of himself and Grealish ahead of the game.

The current Premier League champions have a tricky run of fixtures throughout the festive period, including games against Juventus and rivals Man United.

De Bruyne’s return will doubtless prove to be a huge boost as City aim to win their fifth consecutive league title.
